Ruby Smith is a London based textile artist and weaver. She graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2024 with a degree specialising in Woven Textile Design.

Process
Her work employs a hands-on approach, using traditional handcraft techniques such as hand embroidery and felting, as well as brushing, hand tufting and hand dyeing.
Ruby works primarily with wool and re-purposed yarns, and more recently has been incorporating natural dying into her practice.
